Overview
As a strategic partner on the sales floor, the Seasonal Boutique Host will ensure that David Yurman clients are seamlessly guided throughout their journey by consistently upholding the highest standards of customer service.
The David Yurman Soho Boutique Host will be accountable for the following key deliverables:
Responsibilities
Service and Support
- Create a welcoming luxury environment for our clients upon entry into the boutique.
- Exceed all customer needs and expectations by identifying purpose of visit and leading clients to the appropriate team members.
- Monitor traffic flow by managing queues to ensure an efficient transition to the next available team member.
- Provide hospitality to clients throughout their experience.
- Partner with Brand Ambassadors to prepare for client appointments
- Thank clients as they are exiting the boutique.
- Maintain consistent visual merchandising and housekeeping standards always reflecting current visual guidelines and priorities.
Brand Knowledge
- Learn David Yurman heritage, product, and campaigns; convey excitement for the David Yurman brand to clients.
- Understand and uphold all David Yurman loss prevention, store, and operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year in similar role within a customer service environment; hospitality and/or luxury retail experience preferred
- Ability to anticipate needs of clients and team-members
- Ability to be people-oriented, adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, especially during high-traffic moments
- Ability to problem-solve and communicate resolutions
- Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
